Lace Lithography is pushing the boundaries of physics to define the next generation of microchip manufacturing, using atoms instead of light to pattern silicon wafers. We’re a high-growth, deep-tech startup tackling never-seen before challenges.
We now need an energetic, organized, and proactive individual to join our team in Bergen to support our core operations and scale-up efforts. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the operations of a cutting-edge technology startup. You'll be crucial in helping us transition from an R&D focus to an accelerated engineering and manufacturing phase.
About the Role:
In this role you'll be working with us on-site at our facilities in Bergen and become a part of our operations team! This is a hands-on, dynamic internship designed to support our rapid growth.
The candidate should be able to work 2 to 5 days a week (flexible based on your schedule and accommodating for company needs). The primary focus will be on company operations, office management, procurement, and inventory control.
What you’ll do
- Office and Facilities Management:
- Oversee daily office functions, including maintaining a clean, organized, and functional work environment for the team.
- Coordinate with facility vendors (cleaning, maintenance, utilities).
- Manage meeting rooms, technology setup, and general workplace logistics.
- Procurement and Inventory:
- Assist with procurement of critical office supplies, lab consumables, and R&D components .
- Help manage inventory in our labs and storage areas, ensuring accurate tracking of parts, tools, and supplies.
- Liaise with external vendors and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Operational Scaling Support:
- Assist in documenting and standardizing operational and administrative processes to prepare the company for rapid growth.
- Support the onboarding of new employees, including workstation setup and introductory materials.
- Help coordinate internal and external meetings, including travel, accommodations, and expense processing.
Who you are:
- First and foremost: An amazing team player.
...and also: - Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program (e.g., Business, Administration, Engineering Management, Industrial Economics, or a related field).
- Exceptional organizational skills and a strong, proactive attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks.
- Proficiency with standard office software (Google Workspace, Notion, Slack).
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); Norwegian language skills is a plus but not mandatory.
- A positive, energetic attitude and an eagerness to learn about the deep-tech industry.
