Clean Room Technician
We usually respond within three days
At Lace Lithography, we’re scaling up our team and looking for a passionate and sharp Talent Acquisition Specialist to join us—either in Bergen or Barcelona.
In our company we build chip lithography technology that will enable the next 100 years of chip manufacturing. Founded in 2023, we’re based in Bergen (Norway) and Barcelona (Spain), and backed by some of the world’s most ambitious investors.
About the Role:
As our cleanroom technician, you are the guardian of our controlled environment. You will play a critical role in creating and ensuring our processes are done with precision.
This is a disciplined, hands-on role that requires a “quality-first” mind set. You’ll get to be a part of a collaborative team balancing technical precision with operational efficiency.
What you’ll do:
Your daily mission involves maintaining the delicate balance of cleanroom ecosystem through:
Environmental Monitoring: Perform regular checks to ensure our cleanroom is continuously meeting ISO standards
Equipment Monitoring: Responsible for uptime of equipment. Calibrate and perform basic preventative maintenance on delicate machinery and cleanroom apparatus.
Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of production logs, maintenance schedules, and quality control checklists to ensure full traceability. Ensure all regulations are being followed and creating SOP’s for cleanroom operation.
Contamination Control: Adhere to rigorous gowning protocols (bunny suits, masks, gloves) and lead the sanitization of equipment and work surfaces using approved chemical agents. Follow up with special waste handling in a safe and effective manner
Cleanroom consumables: keep an eye on the cleanroom consumables stock and make sure it does not run out.
Who you are:
To excel in this role, you need a unique blend of patience, technical aptitude, and an eagle eye for detail. We are looking for:
The Detail-Oriented Professional: You notice the small things. You understand that in a cleanroom, "close enough" isn't good enough.
The Process Follower: You respect SOPs and understand that protocols exist for a reason. You are comfortable working in a highly regulated environment.
A Technical Learner: You have a degree (fagbrev) / bachelor in a technical field. You are competent with basic mechanical assembly and using basic computer software for data entry as well as being a hands on person. Experience with installation of equipment, specifically high voltage, vacuum or chemical systems.
Physically Resilient: You are comfortable standing for extended periods and working while wearing full-body protective gear (gowning).
A Team Player: You communicate clearly and proactively, especially when you spot a potential deviation or safety hazard.
