Lace Lithography is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our Hardware team. You'll be responsible for working with our highly experienced Technical Project Managers in organising the teams' work, meticulously tracking milestones, and ensuring seamless communication with our hardware teams. Your focus will be on assisting in driving project execution to meet the company's objectives, ensuring our groundbreaking technology progresses efficiently.
This role is based in Bergen (Norway), and will involve light travel between our key locations throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities
Concretely, we expect you to:
Communicate effectively on organising the workflows for concurrent projects.
Assist in implementing and refine project management best practices within a fast-paced R&D environment.
Assist in orchestrating and streamline communication channels between the geographically displaced teams, ensuring all technical requirements and interdependencies are clearly understood and addressed.
Understand supply chain practicalities and can take ownership of smaller scale projects.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of project plans, progress, technical specifications, and key decisions.
Report regularly on project status to stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on progress, risks, and achievements.
Qualifications/Experience
Required:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Demonstrated experience working on projects involving highly technical teams.
An understanding of project management methodologies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable project plans and communicate them effectively to diverse audiences.
Some experience with risk management, stakeholder management, and change management.
Some proficiency with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Celoxis).
Preferred:
Experience in the semiconductor, quantum technology, or related industries is highly desirable.
Experience working with both hardware and software development teams.
Ability to assist with the construction of Hardware and are prepared to get hands on with the technology.
